My grandma's steamed minced pork was one of my favorite dishes of all time. I don't know what she put in there, but it was magical and delicious. The other day, I attempted to make this on my own-- but with a few more ingredients. I mixed the ground pork and corn starch with a little bit of preserved turnip (a little goes a long way), spread it flat in a shallow dish, and steamed it. Afterward, I cracked an egg over it and steamed it until it was done. Then I served it with rice and asparagus.
