What a fantastic night out at Napa Rose with dear friends dressed to the nines! We had a lovely time dining at the Vintner's Table with the kitchen in full view and impeccable service to boot. I was so excited that I couldn't stop smiling throughout dinner-- way to set the bar so high. It was such a fun time catching up, celebrating, and eating delicious food! Fancy restaurant with a casual, unpretentious vibe. ♥

goat cheese panna cotta; persimmon, applewood bacon, chives.

And as my friend wisely advised, trust them with the drinks-- it'll be better than anything you come up with!

bread basket; olive focaccia, onion rolls, crispy parmesan flatbread.

pan seared New Zealand sea bream and Baja blue shrimp; sweet potato curry, cauliflower espuma.

sustainable salmon; cauliflower, carrot and kohlrabi puree, almonds, golden raisins.

fish of the day and shrimp fritters; braised gigante beans, meyer lemon, salsify and light shrimp broth.

grilled hand harvested diver scallop and braised wagyu beef cheek; golden chanterelles, harvest squash truffle puree.

autumn apple salad; pheasant confit, endive, watercress, almonds, fiscalini cheddar cider vinaigrette.

hamachi yellowtail 'carpaccio' and oak roasted tender octopus; artichokes pine nut caponata, yellow tomato sauce. ♥

hand crafted parmesan reggiano gnocchi; forager mushrooms, english peas, mushroom demi.

pan-seared duck breast;

country rabbit sausage; green apple, rapini pesto, ricotta salata.

breaded pumpkin fritters; wild boar ragu.

honey pineapple sorbet;

truffled 'mac & cheese'; orecchiette pasta with parmigiano-reggiano.

roasted colorado lamb chop; pomegranate, acorn squash, bruseel sprouts, hazelnuts.

slowly braised angus beef short rib; harvest roots, applewood bacon, swiss chard, sweet potato fritter.

petit filet mignon roasted in a cast iron skillet; ragu of corn, potato, okra, rosemary tomato sauce.

Seriously, each drink was better than the one before.

Throughout the night, I was impressed with the plating. Look at the height of the salads! What beautiful works of art.

pumpkin filled bombolini; tahitian vanilla bean ice cream, pear, pomegranate.

Peanut Butter Croquantine with Manjari Chocolate Ganache;

pear soup;

After hours of eating, we ended the night with sparkly fireworks. Hooray!
