Sometimes I joke that the key to my heart is food, especially good food with lots of colors and beautiful plating. République has been on my list of places to try for some time now, so I was excited to try it out! And this place delivered-- from the stunning high ceiling and brick walls to the explosion of flavors in each bite. ♥







Hanger Steak and Salad; maitre d'hotel butter and beef jus.


Smoked Salmon Tartine; avocado, pickled persian cucumbers, onions, capers, dill, lemon.


Kimchi Fried Rice; beef short rib, soft farm eggs.


Dry-Aged Beef Burger; cheese, caramelized onions, french fries.

  1. i really like that place too! went w/ some dukies back in summer and was sad when they chose the dimly-lit cellar-like area in the back instead of the open middle space w/ natural lighting :P
