"From the highest of heights to the depths of the sea
Creation revealing Your majesty
From the colors of fall to the fragrance of spring
Every creature unique in the song that it sings
All exclaiming

Indescribable, uncontainable,
You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name.
You are amazing God
All powerful, untameable,
Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim
You are amazing God

Who has told every lightning bolt where it should go
Or seen heavenly storehouses laden with snow
Who imagined the sun and gives source to its light
Yet conceals it to bring us the coolness of night
None can fathom

Indescribable, uncontainable,
You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name
You are amazing God
All powerful, untameable,
Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim
You are amazing God
You are amazing God

Indescribable, uncontainable,
You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name.
You are amazing God
All powerful, untameable,
Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim
You are amazing God

Indescribable, uncontainable,
You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name.
You are amazing God
Incomparable, unchangeable
You see the depths of my heart and You love me the same
You are amazing God
You are amazing God"

I am in complete awe of the Creator. A week of rain and heavy clouds shattered all hope of seeing the aurora borealis, but God surprised me with not one, but two sightings on my birthday! In the wee hours of the morning, the aurora seemed like nothing more than a dark cloud in the sky-- I only saw the colors through the long exposure photos on my camera. I figured that's what it must look like in real life, nothing at all like the edited photos I saw online...

Then at night, the skies cleared and there was just a hint of green in the sky. Over the next two hours, the colors intensified and the aurora danced-- slowly at first, and then rapidly. A streak of pink lit up the sky as the aurora moved faster than I ever imagined it could (I thought it only moved that fast in time lapse videos). Seriously, one of the coolest things I've ever seen in my life and one of the best birthdays ever. Praise God!!! ♥

And praise God again that I was able to recover the photos from that night after my memory card was corrupted.
