Earlier this month I joined my friends at The Original Renaissance Pleasure Faire. It was fun to spend the day exploring the land, talking with strangers, and traveling to another time. I was surprised at how much fun I had with faeries and dragons, knights and peasants. Despite the sweltering heat, many people were dressed in elaborate costumes and stayed in character-- quite impressive. Next year, we'll definitely have to dress up too!
