Unfortunately, it looks like my monitor couldn't handle it and fried itself. At least the replacement is half the price of what it once cost.

Praise the Lord for allowing me the week to rest in Him! Since I was too sick to go anywhere, I just stayed at home in my pajamas and glasses. This gave me the opportunity to start designing again. and I am so thankful for investing in this desktop-- my most expensive purchase to date, but totally worth it when I can work on Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Firefox without any lag. It makes such a big difference when I'm working with gigantic file sizes!
